Former Isiolo South MP Tubi Bidu died on November 12, 2025, at Nairobi Hospital.

Bidu was serving his first term in Parliament, having been elected in August 2022 on a Jubilee Party ticket.

During his tenure, he served on the Environment, Forestry and Mining Committee as well as the Public Petitions Committee.

Prior to becoming a Member of Parliament, he served as the first Speaker of the Isiolo County Assembly between 2013 and 2017.

From his early days as a game warden to his role as a national legislator, Bidu’s life reflected a deep commitment to protecting Kenya’s natural heritage and promoting community-driven conservation initiatives.

His death marks the end of a dedicated public service career.
