Singer Red Banton has made a heartfelt appeal to Lilian Mbabazi, the mother of the late Mowzey Radio’s children, urging her to organize a memorial event to honor the fallen star.
In a recent interview, Banton shared that Mowzey Radio had appeared to him in a dream, requesting that a commemoration be held in his memory.
The “Nonya Money” singer revealed the dream took place near Nanganda, a spot close to the iconic Good Lyfe home, where Radio had once lived.
“I was in Nanganda, close to the Good Lyfe home, when I met Radio in my dream. He was dressed smartly and told me he’s okay where he is.
But most importantly, he showed me that we need to organize a memorial ceremony for him,” Banton recalled.

Reflecting on the long period since Radio's untimely passing, Banton emphasized that it's been seven years since the music legend died, and there’s yet to be a formal, family-led memorial for him.
“We want to do this, to honor him properly. It’s been long enough without an official ceremony, and I believe it’s time we finally get this done,” he added.

Banton also shared that Radio gave him a song during one of his dreams, but he has yet to complete the recording.
“He used to visit me in my dreams. In one of those dreams, he gave me a song, but I haven’t finished working on it yet,” Banton explained.
Mowzey Radio, one half of the iconic Ugandan duo Good Lyfe alongside Weasel, tragically passed away in February 2018 after succumbing to injuries from a fight in Entebbe.
