Kenyan comedian YY has responded to a playful yet controversial comment made bySauti Sol’s Bien-Aimé Baraza, following an online discussion about creating a unified song dedicated to Raila Odinga.

During an interview with entertainment journalist , when asked about Bien's comment he calmly replied :

“Sijui alikua anaongelelea nani but I respect his views,” 

The comedian’s statement came shortly after Bien’s witty remark stirred conversation online, with fans interpreting it in different ways.

The exchange began when YY shared a video on his social media platforms calling on Kenyanartists to unite and compose one powerful song in honor of Raila Odinga, one of the country’s most influential political figures.

YY, known for blending humor with social commentary, said he believed Raila’s impact on Kenya’s history deserved artistic recognition.

In the video he called the artists to come together and how coming together would be an advantage to Kenyan music industry
