[PHOTOS] Raila's body arrives at Jaramogi University for funeral service

The body of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has arrived at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) for the funeral service.

This marks an emotional moment for thousands of mourners who have gathered from across the country.

The body was escorted from Raila's Opoda Farm under tight security.

Mourners had lined up along the road to take a glimpse at the hearse carrying their political hero.

Some could not be able to contain their sorrow, wailing as the body passed by towards the funeral grounds.

Raila is expected to be laid to rest later today at his Opoda Farm in a private family ceremony.
