They are waiting for the body to be onboarded on the military vehicle carrier to be ferried by road from Opoda Farm to the university, where the service will be held.
The body of Raila was airlifted to his Opoda Farm residence after a public viewing at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium in Kisumu.
