Popular comedian Akuku Danger has finally addressed the widespread speculation surrounding his relationship with actress Sandra Dacha, confirming that they have been "apart for like almost 3 to 4 months".

The revelation came during an exclusive interview with online content creator Trudy Kitui at the ETA Awards Season 5 gala night, where Akuku Danger served as the master of ceremonies.

For some time, many observers have believed the two were in a close relationship, often seen as a romantic one, with their public appearances often fuelling the rumours.

Akuku Danger’s candid conversation with Trudy Kitui offered insight into their current situation and his hopes for the future.

Addressing the Separation

Speaking backstage at the awards, Akuku Danger did not shy away from the topic.

“I got a second wife, and that was the beginning of problems because the first wife left. I’m trying to bring her back, but mambo bado ni mengi,” he said.

He acknowledged the separation but maintained an optimistic outlook on their future.

"We are still making things up," he stated, sending a direct message to Sandra: "Please, baby girl, if you're watching this, come on, nyumba bado ni yako, rudi home".

Despite the physical distance, Akuku insisted he hasn't lost her from his perspective.

"On my end, I haven't lost her," he explained to Trudy Kitui, adding, "If she's lost me, I think. But on my end, we are still together. We might not be together, but well, we are still together technically".

He also clarified his personal stance on relationships, noting, "I don't want to cheat at the same time. I'm not a guy who loves officially".

A Missing 'Vibe' and Artistic Connection

When asked what he misses most about Sandra, Akuku Danger was quick to respond, highlighting her unique personality.

"Her vibe. Hey, babe, she's a vibe," he said. He elaborated on the importance of this aspect in a relationship, stating,

"At the end of the day, you don't want someone who is just going to be… sijui niseme aje, but marriage or relationship is not supposed to be something mnaifanya serious sana because we need hizo moments za utoto kidogo. That is what makes Sandra her".

Akuku also pointed out their professional synergy, noting that Sandra is an artist, which allows them to "definitely click on so many levels". Their shared artistic background appears to be a significant factor in their bond.

Hopes for Reconciliation in Weeks

The comedian expressed a strong desire for reconciliation, indicating that efforts are underway to mend their relationship.

"We are still trying to talk it out," he confirmed. Akuku hopes that the public will see them together again soon.

"Probably in the next few weeks you guys should be able to see us back on the internet," he suggested, further narrowing the timeframe to "the next 3 weeks" for a potential reunion in the public eye.
