Musician Iyanii recently gave fans a candid glimpse into his personal life during a rapid quickfire questions session with Mpasho’s Kalondu Musyimi.
The popular artist opened up about everything from his secret celebrity crush to his real name and the people closest to him.
A Candid Confession and a Crush
One of the most surprising revelations came when Iyanii, aged 26, admitted that his last Google search was for none other than Mia Khalifa.
Mia Khalifa is a Lebanese-American media personality and former adult film actress and webcam model.

Ian openly shared that he has harboured a long-standing crush on her.
"I've had a crush on her for a long time," Iyanii confessed.
He further revealed his intention to take action, stating, "I think that's a good idea. I'm going to do that today"2.
Unveiling Ian: The Man Behind Iyanii
During the chat, Iyanii clarified the origin of his well-known stage name. He confirmed that his real name is Ian Oure.
His current nickname, Iyanii, stems directly from his given name. He explained, "Iyanii actually is from my real name which is Ian but my mom used to call me Iyanii.”
Iyanii also shared a tender moment from his recent past, revealing that he cried just yesterday night. This was due to a neighbour's dog, which he believes broke its spine. "I felt so hurt," he said, adding, "I have a soft spot for animals".
Closest Bonds and Daily Habits
When asked about his closest connections, Iyanii highlighted his family. He confirmed that he calls his mom and his brother the most. His brother also takes the top spot for who he texts most frequently.
His most used emoji is the smiley one, which he attributes to his love for smiling a lot. For meals, Iyanii stated that his favourite is Ugali, sukumawiki and omena. He also proudly declared himself a good cook and shared that he loves preparing chapati.
