US rapper Lil Nas X, real name Montero Lamar Hill, was arrested and taken to hospital in Los Angeles after being found wandering a street in his underwear.
The bizarre incident has shocked fans and reignited conversations about the star’s recent struggles with his health and mental well-being.
According to Page Six, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that officers responded to reports of a nude man shortly before 6am on Thursday on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City.
They found the 26-year-old artist wearing only white briefs and cowboy boots. According to a law enforcement source, Hill allegedly charged at and punched an officer twice in the face before being arrested.
He was booked on suspicion of battery on a police officer.
A Troubling Few Months
The incident comes just months after Lil Nas X opened up about personal difficulties. In a video shared on social media in February, he confessed that his life had been "pretty difficult."
The artist was trying to explain recent career choices, including stepping back from the limelight. He told fans he wanted to live a "mundane life" for a while and find new creative inspiration.

The rapper’s recent troubles are not new. In April, Lil Nas X revealed that he was hospitalised after losing control of the right side of his face.

Disturbing Footage Emerges
Footage obtained by American entertainment site TMZ shows Hill walking down the street at 4am, hours before his arrest. In the clip, he is seen singing and telling a driver to "come to the party." At one point, he placed a traffic cone on his head and posed as if on a catwalk.
Following the altercation with police, officers suspected a possible overdose.
He was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment before being discharged and taken into custody. As of now, a representative for the artist has not issued a statement.
