Marvin Omondi Nabwire, the Harambee Stars midfielder affectionately known as Marvo, isn’t just making waves on the field; he also has a fun, relatable side away from football.
A Mama's Boy at Heart For all his fame and rising success, Nabwire keeps his inner circle tight.
He admits that the person he calls and texts the most is his mum. "I call my mum the most, and I also text her the most," he revealed. That strong family bond keeps him grounded despite the pressures of professional football.

Simple Pleasures and Playful Pranks Nabwire also has a playful streak.
He laughs as he recalls the last time he lied: telling his captain it was time for breakfast when it wasn't. When it comes to food, the midfielder is a simple man.
His favorite dish is rice and chicken, which also happens to be what he cooks best.
Like many young people, he expresses himself with emojis, and the one he uses most frequently is the one that means 100%.

Music and Early Life Before games, Nabwire loves to get in the zone by listening to "Power" by Tanzanian star Mbosso.
He grew up in Kawangware, where he started playing football at just five years old. "My first team was Vapor Sports Ministry," he says proudly. In school, his favorite subject was CRE, while Mathematics and Physics gave him the most trouble.
Discipline and Big Dreams Despite his youth, Nabwire lives with the discipline of a seasoned professional.
He wakes up at 5 a.m. and winds down by 10:30 or 11 p.m. That strict routine helps him balance training, rest, and personal life.

While he doesn’t currently own a car, Nabwire dreams of driving a Porsche one day. For now, he’s focused on investing his earnings wisely, having already put KSh 2.5 million into private investments.
Off the pitch, Nabwire is a young man who values family, discipline, and simple joys.
His relatability makes him a fan favorite, not just as a Harambee Stars midfielder but as a Kenyan youth living his dream while staying true to himself.
