Stevo Simple Boy Reveals Baby's Name and Plans for Fatherhood

Kenyan rapper Stivo Simple Boy is preparing for a significant milestone in his personal life: the arrival of his first child.

The artist has shared insights into his anticipation of fatherhood, his views on marriage, and how he plans to integrate his growing family into his creative endeavours.

Welcoming a New Life

Stivo Simple Boy and his wife are eagerly awaiting their baby, and while the gender is yet to be revealed, the rapper has already prepared names for both possibilities.

For a baby girl, names like Mariana or Bianca are being considered. Should they welcome a boy, the name Otieno is an option. The couple has not yet mixed clothes for the baby, indicating the gender remains a secret.

A gender reveal event is scheduled for the 23rd of this month, and Stivo Simple Boy has extended an invitation for the public to join them in this special celebration.

With a touch of humour, he stated that his upcoming child is expected to "spit fire" even more than he does, hinting at a vibrant personality.

“There are names I had put there arelike if it’s a girl, there is Mariana there is Bianca, and if it’s a boy, he will be Otieno. So this child will now be spitting fire even more than the father is a Dragon fire testing."

Insights on Marriage and Family Life

The rapper has been candid about his perspective on marriage, acknowledging that it is "not easy" ("ndoa si rahisi").

Despite the challenges, he expressed his determination to persevere for the long term. Stivo Simple Boy holds a strong belief in the permanence of marriage, drawing on religious teachings that state once one enters matrimony, there is no turning back.

He affirmed his commitment, declaring, "sibanduki," which translates to "I am not leaving".

He also distinguished between his public artistic persona and his private life as a husband."Ndoa na usanii ziko tofauti," he explained, highlighting that while he is known as 'Stivo Simple Boy' to the public, at home, he is Stephen Otieno.

 A key motivation for him is to use his platform to teach society about the importance of respecting marriage. He shared that his initial aim was to educate the community on this aspect.

Stivo Simple Boy is actively integrating his family life into his artistic and content creation ventures.

He manages two YouTube channels: one dedicated to his musicand another called "Simple Boy Creatives".

On the "Simple Boy Creatives" channel, he and his wife have formed a collaborative group known as "Dragon Family," suggesting joint content creation and projects.

The artist is also busy with his music career, with plans to release new songs or collaborations shortly. He has already discussed these upcoming projects with his wife.
