Vinny Flava Reflects on Relationship with Gee in Emotional YouTube Video

Digital creator and musician Vinny Flava has finally opened up about his highly publicized breakup with fellow content creator and former partner Grace Wambui Nganga, popularly known as Gee.

Flava began by admitting that the video was the hardest he’s ever recorded but, felt compelled to speak for the sake of his supporters.

“Today is the day. I never thought I’d make a video like this,” he said. “But for those who believed in us and were concerned, I had to.”

He praised Gee for being an “amazing person,” saying their relationship, while ended, was filled with purpose. “She’s been a blessing.

For any reason, I wouldn’t have wanted to lose such a person. But under the sun, there are things you cannot control.”

Flava also echoed sentiments Gee had shared earlier, saying it was only respectful to align with her public statement. He then reminisced on how their story began in 2021, during a time when both were still struggling but hopeful.

“She was beautiful and humble. We dreamt of building a future,” he said. “I remember asking her what she wanted to become, and she said, ‘a woman who inspires.’ That’s when I saw something extraordinary in her.”

He revealed that he coined the nickname “Gee,” which eventually became her brand identity as she transitioned into content creation.

“Before her YouTube channel, I gave her the name ‘Gee’—and she loved it. Watching her grow has been an honor.”

While confirming that the two are no longer together, Flava dismissed rumors of bad blood between them.

“We had differences, which is normal. But I will always defend her. What happened, happened.”

Despite the breakup, Vinny Flava’s message was one of grace, gratitude, and closure, leaving fans touched by the maturity and honesty of his tone.
