As Nairobi get ready for this Saturday’s highly anticipated Classic Fit event at the Arboretum, fitness enthusiasts and first-timers alike are being urged to prepare both physically and mentally for the wellness-packed experience.
Organized by Classic 105 FM under the Radio Africa Group, Classic Fit is more than just a workout, it's a vibrant celebration of health, movement, and mental wellness. From high-energy Zumba sessions to strength training circuits and wellness challenges, the half-day event promises a mix of exercise and entertainment in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

Dress the Part
Wear comfortable workout gearand supportive athletic shoes. “You’ll be moving a lot—stretching, jumping, dancing, so come in something breathable and sweat-friendly,” said a representative from Classic 105.
Branded Classic Fit t-shirts will also be available at the venue, giving attendees a chance to fully immerse themselves in the spirit of the event.
Fuel Up Wisely
To get the most out of the activities, fitness trainers recommend eating a light, balanced meal at least an hour before arrival. “Think fruit, oatmeal, or a smoothie, something that energizes without weighing you down,” said wellness coach
