Award-winning musician and reality star Bahati has weighed in on the explosive drama between comedian Mulamwah and his baby mama Ruth K, urging the embattled couple to stop airing their dirty laundry in public and focus on healing — for the sake of their child.
On Thursday, Kenyans watched in disbelief as Mulamwah and Ruth K engaged in a bitter online feud that escalated into the leaking of each other’s nude photos and videos. The heated exchange dominated social media trends for hours and left many shocked by the depth of their personal fallout.
While both later issued public apologies, acknowledging their mistakes and asking fans for forgiveness, the damage had already been done, with screenshots and clips already circulating across platforms.
Now, Bahati — known for his own highly publicized family life — has come forward with heartfelt advice to the young parents, pleading with them to take their issues offline and protect their child from further emotional harm.
“I don’t easily comment on people’s affairs but I don’t rejoice when families are broken ?,” Bahati wrote. “I urge the public to pray for this young couple and above all, may God restore what they have lost during this drama, heal their hearts, and protect the innocent child.”

Expressing his inability to reach either Mulamwah or Ruth directly, Bahati made a passionate appeal:
“My only request to my fellow parents, Mulamwah and Ruth (because I can’t get you on phone)… please get this off social media. It’s sad, but it shall be well in Jesus’ name ?.”
Quoting scripture, he added:
“James 1:20 – ‘The anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.’”
Bahati’s intervention has been praised by fans who feel the situation had spiraled far beyond acceptable limits, especially with the involvement of their child’s Instagram account and alleged distribution of intimate content — a criminal offense in Kenya.
As one of the most vocal celebrity dads in the country, Bahati’s concern echoed the sentiments of many who believe that Mulamwah and Ruth K still have a chance to rebuild trust — not necessarily as lovers, but as co-parents.
With the pair now having both apologized and indicated a willingness to move forward with maturity, Bahati’s words serve as a timely reminder of the importance of privacy, dignity, and responsible parenting — especially in the digital age.
Whether the young couple will heed his advice remains to be seen, but the message is clear: some battles are best fought away from the timelines.\
