The government has announced job opportunities in various state agencies, inviting qualified Kenyans to apply.

In the Tuesday edition of MyGov, the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) listed several vacancies.

The agency is seeking results-oriented individuals with high integrity to serve as Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners.

The recruitment process is being managed by PKF, a professional services firm.

According to the notice, there are four Commissioner positions and twelve Deputy Commissioner positions available.

The Commissioner's roles include: Shared Services; Business Strategy, Technology and Enterprise Modernisation; Investigations and Enforcement; and Micro and Small Taxpayers.

The Deputy Commissioner positions are in Trade Facilitation; Micro and Small Taxpayers; Tax Dispute Resolution; Revenue Monitoring (Southern Region); Enforcement and Prosecution; Business Transformation and Digital Engineering Risk Management; Supply Chain Management; Audit and Risk; Information Security and Data Governance Infrastructure Management, and International Tax.

Applicants must submit their applications online via the PKF website at https://www.pkfea.com/careers by July 7, 2025, at 11:59 PM. KRA clarified that only online applications will be accepted.

Applicants are required to submit a concise CV, academic certificates, and a completed application form. They are also warned against canvassing or submitting false information, as this will lead to automatic disqualification.

Other mandatory documents include valid certificates of good conduct, tax compliance, HELB clearance, EACC clearance, and a credit report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).

Elsewhere, the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife has also advertised job openings. It is seeking to fill eleven Principal Officer positions.

The Ministry encourages women and persons living with disabilities to apply.

Interested candidates are required to complete the PSC 2 (Revised 2016) application form, available for download from the Public Service Commission website at www.publicservice.go.ke.

Completed forms should be submitted to the Principal Secretary, Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife, State Department for Wildlife, P.O. Box 41394–00100, Nairobi.

Applications may also be hand-delivered to the National Social Security Fund Building, Block ‘A’, 21st Floor, Central Registry, or sent via email to [email protected] by July 1, 2025.

The Kenya Film Commission board (KFC) has also announced vacancies. It is looking to recruit qualified individuals for the positions of Manager, Marketing; Manager, Corporate Communication; Manager, Human Resource and Administration; and Manager, Liaison.

Applications should include a cover letter, a detailed CV with three referees, current and expected remuneration, email and daytime phone contact, copies of relevant certificates, and a copy of the National ID or passport.

Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Kenya Film Commission, Jumuia Place, Second Floor, Lenana Road, P.O. Box 76417–00508, Nairobi, and sent in by July 10, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

KFC has warned that any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

In a separate notice dated June 17, 2025, the National Council for Population and Development (NCPD) also announced a job opening.

Under the Ministry of National Treasury and Economic Planning, NCPD is seeking to fill one position of Director, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, Grade NCPD 2.

Qualified candidates are required to submit an application letter, a detailed CV with contacts of three referees, copies of academic and professional certificates, and a copy of their National ID or passport.

The Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC) has also advertised vacancies.

The corporation is looking to recruit experienced, motivated, and results-driven individuals to fill several roles: General Manager, Human Resource & Administration (Grade 2); Manager, Administration (Grade 3); Manager, Energy Centres; Principal Security Officer (Grade 4); and Principal Forensic Auditor (Grade 4).

All positions are permanent and pensionable, except the General Manager post.

REREC encourages people with disabilities, women, and candidates from marginalised and minority groups to apply.
