Kenyan actress Lynne Njihia is thrilled to join the South African reality TV series Mommy Club, viewing it as a platform to establish her identity beyond being “Eric Omondi’s wife.”

In an interview with Mpasho on June 2, 2025, Lynne described her participation as a career milestone, allowing her to step out from the shadow of her husband, a celebrated Kenyan comedian, and showcase her authentic self.

Initially wary of reality TV, Lynne was captivated by Mommy Club’s focus on the dynamic between mothers and their nannies.

She saw it as an opportunity to reveal her true personality, sharing a more mature and multifaceted side that audiences haven’t seen before.

The show, she believes, will let viewers glimpse her emotions, drama, and love, offering a fresh perspective on her life as a mother and entertainer.
