A FORMER MP who has been staunchly defending government policies in public meetings and on social media has reportedly finally given up.

It appears the position he had been hoping for isn’t coming anytime soon.

We are told he has informed TV and radio stations that frequently invited him as a guest that he is no longer available, and they should no longer contact him because he wants to focus on “serious matters.”

Unknown to him, a key government agency has allegedly been monitoring his calls, which purportedly revealed he has been in regular communication with anti-government leaders - possibly the very reason his appointment has been delayed.

AN UNPOPULAR MP from central Kenya is reportedly in panic mode. The recent incident involving one of their own has instilled so much fear in him that he now wants to be assigned five more bodyguards. He was overheard telling fellow MPs that he is not taking chances anymore with his life, citing his young family and the fact that he recently married a second wife. What has left many puzzled, however, is why the honourable member is supposedly demanding more security than even some of the top leaders in Parliament.

AN INFLUENTIAL LEADER, who secured a position through her party’s nomination, is allegedly growing increasingly frustrated. Coming from a prominent family, she was reportedly overheard lamenting that her salary is too little to sustain her lifestyle. It is purportedly said she has contemplated resigning multiple times and returning home, complaining that her stay abroad has eroded her influence back home. Who knows? Maybe she has already been promised another position awaiting her return.

SOME SENIOR TRAFFIC officers within a coastal county are reportedly doing everything possible to block their looming transfer. The transfers, quietly being arran- ged from Vigilance House, are expected to take effect in the coming months. While it remains unclear whether they are among those slated for relocation, the uncertainty has sparked panic. Sources say the officers have been frequenting headquarters, allegedly seeking favours from their powerful connections to avert the move. Are they going to survive? This is the talk among some juniors, who are closely watching the unfolding drama.
