"That one failed to handle things, so we fired him," she quipped when asked about dowry plans, making it clear Samidoh was no longer in the picture. "You all saw what happened."
Their high-profile romance, which began in late 2019 after a political event, had long been controversial. It produced two children (born in 2020 and 2022) but also intensified scrutiny, with Nyamu facing accusations of "stealing" Samidoh from his wife, Edday Nderitu.
The strain ultimately led Edday to relocate to the U.S. with their kids, publicly rejecting polygamy.
