Emotions ran high on Saturday as senior ODM party leaders visited the rural home of the late Kasipul MP Charles Ong’ondo Were.
Were was recently shot dead by an assailant on a motorbike along Ngong Road in Nairobi.

“What a loss!” said Governor Wanga.
“It’s crucial that we come together as we prepare for his final journey. May the Almighty guide us through this process.”
The late Ong’ondo Were, a second-term MP known for his calm demeanour and grassroots development work, was mourned as a dedicated leader whose untimely death has left a deep void in the constituency and beyond.
