Kenya Power has announced a power interruption in some counties nationwide on Wednesday, April 30.

The utility firm said areas in three counties will experience power cuts between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The power interruption helps to facilitate system maintenance.

The counties to be affected are Uasin Gishu, Laikipia, and Kilifi.

UASIN GISHU

The areas will face power cuts from 9 am to 1 pm.

They are Eldoret Quarry and its adjacent customers.                

Other areas to face power cuts from 9 am to 3 pm are Racecourse Hospital, Unity Homes, Kapseret Centre, Cibien Quarry and St. George's Chepkatet.

LAIKIPIA

Parts of Laikipia will face power cuts from 8 am to 5 pm.

The areas include Colour Crops, Turracco, Kalalu Farm, Ibis Farm, Greenland Farm, GAW, Sirimon, Umande, Kwa Mumero, Ngenia, Mia Moja, Kithithina Timau Market, Siraji, Oldonyo, Batian, Ngarendare, Embori Flowers, Uhuru Flowers, Kisima Flowers, PJ Dave Limited, Timaflor, AAA Growers Kisima Secondary, Kongoni Farm, Mbuju Primary, Thamba Ngombe, Tambuzi, Kiambogo Pri, Ngusishi, Siraji, Nelion, Oldonyo, Timaflour Farms, Ethi, Marania, Wangu Farm, Kongoni, Timaflour 5 and  adjacent customers.

KILIFI

Parts of Kilifi to face power cuts from 9am to 5pm include parts of Mnarani, Vipingo, Kadzinduni, MCL, Kapecha, Jaribuni, Dzitsoni, Chasimba, Ziani, Pingilikani and Mazuka.
