Clean up or show off? County official anti-litter crusade raises eyebrows

He is not just storming business establishments with a ragtag team in tow, but is also now allegedly randomly stopping ordinary Kenyans in the streets and demanding that they pick up any litter near them.

In each of the raids, a strategic man with a camera is supposedly always around the corner. What perplexes observers and mem- bers of the public is that despite his drama, nothing has purportedly changed in terms of the cleanliness of the said county.

Is it a clout-cha-sing stunt for media visibility, or he just wants to prove to the appointing authority that he is working?
