A member of Parliament from a cosmopolitan town is having trouble after his main rival in the 2022 polls started getting cosy with a political godfather. The MP had been in good books with the political king for a long time until the latest development. While it's not clear if the kingpin plans to back the MP's opponent in the 2027 elections, the relationship is quite telling and has rattled the lawmaker. A bid by the MP to seek a meeting with the bigwig flopped after he allegedly rebuffed that he won't see the MP now until it is convenient for him. The lawmaker had now panicked after the kingpin hosted some opinion leaders from the constituency at his rural home.
