Radio presenter Kamene Goro has sparked debate on social media after giving advice that many view as controversial regarding the topic of relationships.

In a short video posted on her Instagram page, Goro advised young women, especially those in their 20s, to make the most of their youth.

The presenter, who got married two years ago, advised young women in their 20s to use that time to experiment with different men until they find the right one to settle down with in marriage.

"I want to speak to my beautiful girls in their 20s, who are still young and just beginning to understand what adult responsibilities mean. Please, under no circumstance should you tie yourself down to just one man," Goro said.

According to her, the early 20s are a time to try all sorts of things because that’s when women are at their prime.

Goro stated that it's not wise to commit to just one man at that age, because she’s more than 1000% sure that the man they think is “the one” at that time is not the one they’ll end up marrying.

She urged women to widen their horizons.

“Let me tell you something, your youth is your chance to experiment. Go out there and kiss all the frogs until you find your prince. How will you know who’s right for you if you’ve only stuck with one guy?” she asked.

She advised women to date men of all types—different appearances, professions, body types, and even skin colors.

"Date a guy with dreads, date a light-skinned man, a tall man... you know," she explained.

However, she was well aware that this advice would put her at odds with many of her social media followers.

Still, she said she’s the only one bold enough to tell young women the truth that’s often hidden from them about the realities of life, especially within the age bracket she mentioned.

Kamene had a private wedding with her partner, DJ Bonez, two years ago in an event that surprised many—considering she was previously among the women who didn’t view marriage as a top priority for a modern-day woman.
