Top officials of the Nairobi county government led by Governor Johnson Sakaja on Friday embarked on a visit to various primary schools in Nairobi where they spread love in honour of Valentine’s Day.
The team visited schools that have benefited from a life-changing Dishi na County program during which they shared meals with locals.
Governor Sakaja visited Aga Khan Primary School, his alma mater.

Speaking at the event, Governor Sakaja expressed his joy over the success of the Dishi na County school feeding program describing it as a dream come true.

“I am happy to be here with you this Valentine’s Day. It brings me great joy to return to my former school—not as a student, but as your Governor—to share a meal and celebrate this special day together,” he said.

During his visit, the Governor also pledged to address challenges at the school.
“I have heard about the challenges facing this school—one that I proudly attended from 1991 as a student. Now, as your Governor, I will ensure we work together to resolve the various challenges your principal has briefed me about,” he assured.
The day’s events highlighted the Governor’s commitment to both education and community well-being, making this Valentine’s Day a meaningful and impactful celebration for Nairobi residents.
