Counties rated poorly in roads and transport performance

Some counties have been rated poorly in roads and transport performance.

A survey by Infotrak shows that Baringo is not doing well in roads infrastructure, receiving a ranking of 40 per cent.

Others include Bomet, Nyandarua, Embu, Narok, Kericho and Kitui.

The survey sought to find out how residents would rate their county government’s performance with regard to various devolved functions.

Some of the areas of assessment included improved road networks, well organised public transport, and proper traffic management.
