On air personality Tallia Oyando left Citizen TV's 'One Love' show on Saturday after eight years.

Addressing her exit, an emotional Oyando said she had been in the limelight since she was 13 years old and is still at it.

"Thank You I have felt so much love this week that has just fueled me. I’m still an emotional wreck so for now. I love you thank you from the bottom of my heart to the depths of my soul." she said. 



The One Love Show host is also popularly referred to as Night Nurse. Talia thanked her audience, workmates and others for walking with her on her journey on the show.

I want to say thank you so much for coming though. I don't want to say much because I am a very emotional person. I love you guys so much. Its been eight years. I am happy that all of you are here. I have been in the limelight since I was 13 years old and I am still here, by the Grace of God."

In an emotional farewell message shared on Instagram, Tallia reflected on her incredible journey with the Citizen TV family and her beloved One Love audience.

She expressed deep gratitude to her fans, crew, and the network for their unwavering support throughout the years.

"After eight beautiful years of love, music, and family on One Love at Citizen TV, it’s time for a new chapter," she wrote.

Last week, a source told Mpasho that Tallia would be joining NTV, hosting a reggae show after she was poached.

"Talia is coming to NTV, her show will be starting almost immediately after she says her goodbye to Citizen TV," said the source

The source added that NTV has been poaching more presenters including Natalie Githinji who previously worked for NRG Radio and Laura Mbatha who worked with Standard Media's KTN and Sound City radio.

"Natalie Githinji and and Laura Mbatha will be hosting an evening show just after the 4PM news. It is a music show like The Beat but this time round with presenters," said the source.

Seasoned journalists Janet Mbugua and Eric Latiff have also been taken by NTV and will be hosting a political show.
