Reasons for renting instead of residing in own dwelling

Some tenants own dwelling units but do not reside in them regularly.

Slightly more than half (52.2%) of the respondents preferred to rent because their dwellings were too far from work, while 41.3 per cent preferred to rent because their dwellings were in rural areas.
