Uncle Waffle Concert Bombs Badly

In stark contrast with Sean Paul's concert, one headlined by South Africa-based DJ and record producer Uncle Waffles just a day earlier at the ASK Dome along Ngong Road ended in chaos.

The highly anticipated event attracted over 10,000 fans, with additional crowds attempting to gain entry despite the venue being sold out.

The overwhelming turnout exposed severe flaws in planning, as organizers underestimated the numbers and struggled with crowd control.

Poor communication and delays fueled frustration among attendees. The situation escalated into a riot outside the venue, prompting authorities to use tear gas to disperse the crowd.

Uncle Waffles’ performance itself was marred by technical issues, including subpar sound quality that strained her set.

She performed for just 30–40 minutes before ending her show prematurely, citing safety concerns. Her brief appearance left fans disappointed, with many taking to social media to demand accountability from the event organizers.

Waigoko Kimengemeng Nilikuwa na tiko ya UncleWaffles, nikafika gate and it was a whole mess. Gave some random chick the ticket and took a cab out of there. Walker town and then this, Kenyan even organisers wataua watu siku moja

11:11 It's only in Kenya where unalipia concert ticket 3K, na security inakaa shit, jana concert ya UncleWaffles vijana wa Eastlando waliharibu sherehe, mnadhani artists watakuwa wakikuja kenya kweli, the other day kwa Rema mliingia bure bana, hii ni ufala tu.

Kelly Sly Kiarie???? UncleWaffles’ set in Kenya was ruined by poor event planning. The crowd showed up, but organizers underestimated the numbers. Worse, the sound system was pathetic, straining her performance. Fans and artists deserve better!!!
