Hosted at Hemingways Nairobi, the evening brought together artisans, trendsetters and creators from various disciplines, to share the stories that inspire their passions.

Embracing the theme of “Endless Creativity in Craftsmanship”, the brand’s signature elegance was seen in the gold, black and white décor, while the guests’ fashion reflected their personal interpretations of “Glamorously Crafted”.

The evening was graciously hosted by Lyra Aoko the acclaimed photographer and artist.

These unique qualities were highlighted as part of this year’s Champagne Day celebrations spanning eight African countries, as the evening unfolded in three distinct phases, guiding guests through an immersive exploration of Moët & Chandon,

The experience was crafted around three phases, each honoring Moët & Chandon’s legacy and forward-thinking spirit.

A heritage wall greeted guests, taking them through the rich history of Moët & Chandon, its pioneering milestones, and its influence in defining champagne excellence.

The evening transitioned into a unique dining experience that transported guests to a Parisian-inspired chic setting, where every detail was a nod to Moët & Chandon’s hallmark of elegance combined with modern allure.

In a tribute to the art behind each bottle, chefs presented a menu crafted with meticulous attention to detail, symbolizing the creative process in winemaking.

Guests were also welcomed to raise a glass to Champagne Day, led by MH Market Manager Gboyega Ogunfuye.

Speaking from personal experience, Lyra shared her journey to Épernay, the heart of Moët & Chandon, earlier this year.

This journey inspired her artistic vision for the evening, expressed through a bespoke creation that reflected the Maison’s ethos of artistry and discovery.

In a short film, guests witnessed the journey of seven artisans from Africa to Épernay, showcasing their experiences with Moët & Chandon and the transformative process of craftsmanship.

This rare glimpse allowed attendees to appreciate the cross-cultural exchange of savoir-faire and the profound impact of heritage on creativity. Guests were invited to engage by writing their own celebratory messages, encased in golden capsules as keepsakes, symbolizing personal milestones yet to be achieved.

The evening concluded with an electrifying performance by Saxophonist Rabai and the unveiling of the Épernay to Africa photo wall, a vibrant homage to the collaboration between the Maison and African creatives.
