
Martell, the oldest of the great cognac houses, kicked off the second chapter of its 2021 award-winning ‘Be the Standout Swift’ campaign with singer, songwriter, and Grammy-nominated superstar, Davido.
Celebrating the rise of Afrobeats, this new chapter looks to
honor and inspire those who have stayed authentic to their craft, resilient on
their journey, and are taking others along with them.
To launch this chapter of the campaign, Martell hosted about one hundred and fifty consumers, customers, and partners to an exclusive VIP experience tagged the ‘Martell Home Party’.
The event, which was heralded with glitz and glam, was attended by select lifestyle enthusiasts, top nightlife entrepreneurs, and customers of the Pernod Ricard Kenya.
Notably, it was an occasion to announce some of its new brand influencers namely; Dan Paps, Dr Reign, Superstar DJ Kronikx, and lifestyle blogger Muthonzz, to mention a few.
The Exclusive event, which featured a tasting session hosted by Leah Attfield, Regional Brand Ambassador Pernod Ricard Africa, introduced the guests to the Martell Brand history and ended with a tasting and toasting of the variants available in the Market.
Maryanne Ng’ang’a, the Trade marketing lead for Martell Cognac at Pernod Ricard Kenya, in her comments, highlighted how important it was to create elevated experiences for valued customers and consumers. These experiences reflect the premium nature and sophistication of Martell.
The event was hosted at the Uhuru Gardens on Langata Road, with guests welcomed and chauffeured VIP style from the parking to the experience itself.
The event was headlined by the South African Duo, Tito M and Yuppe (popularly known for their hit Tshwala Bam), Shody the Hypeman, alongside top DJs from the country including Kay The DJ, DJ Cibin, DJ Ite, DJ Malaika, DJ Mondre and the MC Black Snow.
