Who is Maandy Kabaya

Her art and music reflect her background in the Dagoretti area of Nairobi.

Maandy debuted in the Kenyan music scene in 2016, shortly after graduating from high school.

She started as a disc jockey called DJ Maandy.

She decided to pursue music recording and performing after much encouragement from her friends. In 2008, Maandy released her debut single under Chuo Records, called 'Cheff'.

Maandy first came into the public eye following Khaligraph Jones' #YesBanaFreestyle.
