Mr Lenny appeals for financial help after losing his dad

Kenyan legendary musician Mr Lenny and his family are mourning following the demise of his father.

In a statement, Lenny mentioned that his dad passed away on Sunday 29th September 2024, at 7:00 a.m. due to organ failure.

The ‘Cash Money’ hitmaker went on to reveal that his father had been in and out of hospital before he passed away.

Lenny’s father also battled Schizophrenia, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Kidney Failure, and an enlarged Prostate.

“Dear All,

“Our Dad has been unwell the better part of this year... Schizophrenia, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Kidney Failure, and enlarged Prostate...He had also suffered a stroke a few years back.

“However, two months ago he suffered a severe heart attack and he was admitted at KNH Private Wing. After about a week and a half, he was discharged,” Mr Lenny said.

“Four days later he was re-admitted due to very low blood pressure. Both times we almost lost him.

The second admission did not go well and he finally rested on Sunday 29th September 2024, at 7:00 a.m. due to organ failure,” Mr. Lenny added.

Lenny is appealing for financial to secure his father’s body from KNH where it is being held.

“He is resting at KNH mortuary and we cannot move him until we clear the hospital bill. We kindly request you to assist us raise funds to offset the hospital bill and give him adecent send off.  Thank you for your prayers and support. Mr. Lenny,”.
