Kenya's urban landscape is receiving a significant boost as international property developers expand operations across Nairobi. UAE-based developer Reportage Group is currently advancing three major projects in the capital.
Together, these developments encompass 819 residential and hotel apartments with a combined development value exceeding KES 6 billion. The ongoing construction and local site operations are providing a welcome opening for skilled young professionals, technicians, engineers, and service personnel seeking work.
"Kenya is an important market for Reportage Group, and our experience here reinforces our confidence in its long-term potential,” Mr. Andrea Nucera, Group Managing Director said in a presser.
Active Sites and Completion Timelines
During a recent tour of Nairobi, Group Managing Director Mr. Andrea Nucera and senior leadership met with local teams to assess project progress and evaluate potential new development sites.
The active portfolio includes DG JKIA along Mombasa Road, featuring 273 hotel apartments situated close to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and the Standard Gauge Railway corridor. More than 90% of DG JKIA units have already been sold, with final completion scheduled for June 2027.

Meanwhile, DG West is under active construction on Sports Road in Westlands, delivering 200 hotel apartments. Enzo Residence in Riverside, launched in August 2026, adds 346 studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments to the market.
These multi-site operations require ongoing technical supervision, sales, and management roles across the city.
"Our focus is on delivering developments that respond to market needs while taking advantage of technology and more sustainable building practices to improve efficiency, resource management and the long-term performance of our properties," Nucera added.
Market Statistics and Regional Context

As developments across Nairobi move towards completion, local youth stand to gain direct technical experience and employment within Kenya’s expanding property sector.
