Former Stevo Simple Boy manager Geoffrey Machabe has set a KSh 10 million condition before agreeing to undergo a DNA test to establish whether he is the biological father of Brenda’s son.

Machabe addressed the renewed paternity allegations during an interview with MBC TV Kenya, where he was questioned about claims linking him to the child.

The former manager responded humorously when asked whether he was willing to undergo the test, suggesting that anyone interested in establishing the truth would first have to meet his financial demand.

“Toa 10 million na twende DNA ya kwenye unataka,” he said, telling the interviewer to produce KSh 10 million before they proceeded with the test.

When asked whether he could afford such an amount, Machabe spoke about his business ventures and monthly earnings, insisting that the figure was not negotiable.

“Machabe makes KSh 5 million, not below,” he said during the exchange.

His remarks have reignited conversations surrounding the paternity of Brenda’s son, whose biological father became a subject of public discussion following Stevo’s DNA results.

How Machabe became linked to Brenda’s son

Machabe previously worked as Stevo’s manager before their professional relationship deteriorated.

In September, he publicly claimed that he was romantically involved with Brenda while managing the musician and alleged that the relationship resulted in the birth of her son.

His claims attracted considerable attention, with Brenda subsequently denying having a romantic relationship with him.

She maintained that her association with Machabe was strictly professional, as he was previously involved in managing Stevo’s career.

Machabe later withdrew his earlier claims and apologized, but the controversy continued attracting attention.

Stevo Simple Boy’s DNA results

The discussion gained renewed attention after Stevo underwent a DNA paternity test to establish whether he was the biological father of Brenda’s son, Dragon Junior.

The results, released in October, excluded the musician as the child’s biological father.

Following the revelation, Stevo announced that he and Brenda were no longer together as a couple, saying the findings had been difficult to process.

The musician also asked Kenyans to respect his privacy as he dealt with the situation.

Machabe’s latest comments have now introduced another twist to the controversy, although no publicly confirmed DNA results establish that he is the child’s biological father.

For now, his KSh 10 million remark remains a condition he expressed during the television interview rather than confirmation that a DNA test has been arranged.
