Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna will lead the Linda Mwananchi faction on a tour of Kwale County on Saturday as the group steps up its grassroots mobilisation efforts.
The tour will cover five stops, beginning in Samburu Town at 10 am before proceeding to Kinango Town, Kombani Junction and Lunga Lunga Town.
The engagements will culminate in a main rally at Ukunda Showground scheduled for 3 pm.
Rallying supporters ahead of the visit, Sifuna said the group was pressing ahead with its activities, urging them to turn out for the engagements.
“Kesho tuko works bado hatujachoka… Kwale program kesho ni fupi sana… twende kazi!” he said.
The faction has also published a Paybill number through which supporters can contribute towards its activities, directing contributors to use their phone numbers as the account reference.
The appeal comes as Linda Mwananchi seeks to expand its presence beyond Nairobi through county tours and public rallies ahead of the 2027 General Election.
The Kwale visit is expected to allow the group to engage residents on its political agenda, mobilise local supporters and strengthen its grassroots networks along the Coast.
The tour comes amid shifting political alliances and growing competition for grassroots support as leaders position themselves ahead of the next General Election.
The movement officially opened its Nairobi headquarters on October 30, 2026, as it continued to organise its activities and build its political presence.
Saturday's engagements will provide an opportunity for the faction to reach more residents in Kwale as it seeks to extend its influence beyond its established political base.
