President William Ruto has handed over the COMESA chairmanship to Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who will be deputized by Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema. Speaking during the 25th COMESA Summit in Zimbambwe, Ruto praised the performance of the regional bloc for its resilience and significant economic gains during his tenure, despite challenging global economic conditions.
