A Malindi man has been jailed for 30 years for defiling a seven-year-old boy in Jacaranda, Kilifi County, on June 14, 2025.Resident Magistrate Eva Miriam convicted Justin Karisa after finding the prosecution had proved the case beyond reasonable doubt. Thoya, who skipped bail for eight months, was arrested in Hindi, Lamu County. He has 14 days to appeal against the conviction and sentence.
