Trade CS Lee Kinyanjui is calling on Chinese investors to establish manufacturing industries in Kenya, targeting the wider African market. Speaking at the Kenya-China Investor Roundtable in Beijing, Kinyanjui said Kenya offers investors a strategic manufacturing base with access to markets across the continent through regional and continental trade agreements. He said the government is seeking investments that will create jobs, transfer skills and technology, strengthen local supply chains and boost exports.
