Favourite Meals and School Tastes

During the quickfire session, the media personality revealed that her real name is Angela. When asked about her culinary preferences, she listed traditional boiled maize and beans, known as githeri, as her favourite meal. Conversely, she named watermelon as her least favourite food.

“Githeri is my favorite meal, and I’m serious. Githeri with warus is my best. I guess it’s because I didn’t go to boarding school, so I don’t have githeri trauma, I love it,” she said.

Looking back at her time at Kianda School, Muriuki shared details regarding her academic performance and choices. She scored a grade of B+ in her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations. French was her favourite subject in school. On the other hand, maths was her least favourite subject.

Unpaid First Job and Financial Details

The interview also touched on Muriuki's initial entry into the workforce. Before entering mainstream media, her very first job was working in a hair salon. When asked about her earnings from that first position, she stated that her salary was "nothing."
