Police officers visited the facility and retrieved the body. Preliminary findings showed that the boy had no visible injuries.

Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) officers processed and documented the scene before the body was moved to the City Mortuary.

The body is being preserved pending identification, and an autopsy as police investigate the circumstances surrounding the child’s death. Police said they were investigating the motive, if any.

Meanwhile, a 44-year-old man was found dead with a deep wound on his face at his home in Iyabo Village, Mumias West Sub-County, Kakamega County.
