President William Ruto on Thursday presided over the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) graduation ceremony for 3,750 beneficiaries at State House, Nairobi.

The beneficiaries were recognised under the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programme, which formally acknowledges skills and competencies acquired through work experience, informal training and other forms of learning.

The ceremony highlights the government's efforts to strengthen skills development and improve employment opportunities by ensuring workers receive certification for competencies they have acquired.

The recognition is expected to enhance the beneficiaries' competitiveness in the labour market and support access to further training and economic opportunities.
