County First Ladies and health partners have stepped up efforts to prevent and treat fistula among women through a free surgical camp at Marafa Sub-County Hospital in Kilifi. The camp, organised by the M-Pesa Foundation and partners, runs until October 9. CFLA chairperson Alamitu Guyo Jattani says fistula requires attention beyond surgical camps. The M-Pesa Foundation says it plans to support 2,200 fistula surgeries across all 47 counties by 2028.
