Basic Education PS John Ololtuaa is confident MPs will pass the Tertiary Education, Placement and Funding Bill, 2026. He said the proposed reforms aim to ensure students are admitted to universities and colleges to pursue their studies without being limited by financial challenges. Under the Bill, financial support extended to learners will be determined by household financial ability, special needs, affirmative action considerations and the cost of the academic programme.
