The Ministry of Health has established a 24-hour desk at the scene of a collapsed building in Nairobi’s Eastleigh area to coordinate rescue efforts. Public Health PS Mary Muthoni says medical teams have been deployed from referral facilities, while nearby health facilities have been placed on standby to handle casualties requiring urgent medical attention.
