Former IPOA chairperson Macharia Njeru has defended his decision to join politics, saying he is determined to offer fresh and transformative leadership and change the status quo. Speaking during an NTV interview, Njeru attributed Kenya’s current challenges to the recycling of political leaders. Njeru is seeking to unseat President William Ruto in the 2027 General Election, promising a different approach to leadership and governance.
