ODM will today hold a nationwide candle-lighting ceremony to mark one year since the death of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. The ceremony will take place simultaneously at 6pm, with Kenyans at home and abroad invited to light candles at county headquarters and other designated venues. ODM said the event is being held in partnership with the National Steering Committee overseeing the first anniversary of Raila’s memorial. The ceremony will mark the launch of a month-long program to celebrate his legacy.
