Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has criticised the exploitation of Africa’s raw materials by developed countries. Speaking during the groundbreaking ceremony for the Dangote oil refinery in Lamu, Museveni questioned why African products remain undervalued despite the continent’s abundance of raw materials. He called for greater value addition to ensure African countries benefit more from their resources.
