Colonel Mustafa will mark 25 years in Kenya's entertainment industry with a concert on 10 October 2026. Fans will gather at Imperial Chambers Lounge, along Kwaheri Road off Kiambu Road.
The line-up spans different generations of the country's music scene. Here is what fans can expect on the night.
A reunion with Marya
The headline act is a reunion with singer Marya. Mustafa announced it on Instagram.
He described her as "one of the most powerful women to ever grace my life". The two worked together on Hey Baby in 2009, one of their best-known collaborations.
"Reunited and it feels so good!" – Colonel Mustafa

Throwback performances
Fans can expect a trip through different chapters of Kenyan music. Nazizi, Mr Nice, Kenrazy, Willy M Tuva, Kenzo Matata and J.I are all billed to perform.
Mustafa, whose full name is Daudi Tunde, first gained prominence in the early 2000s. He was part of the Deux Vultures group before going solo.
That history gives the night its backdrop. Several of the acts have been part of the country's music and media landscape for years.
Nostalgia for the millennials
The night is aimed squarely at fans who grew up on his songs. Many of them are now adults, and this is their chance to hear those tracks live.
Mustafa first rose as one half of Deux Vultures, alongside his childhood friend Nasty Thomas. The duo's early hits included Mona Lisa, Katika and Kinyaunyau.
Several of the acts have been part of the country's music and media landscape for years. Together, they should take the crowd back to the sounds of that era.

"I never thought I would have a show like this"
Mustafa became emotional while speaking to Mpasho's Kalondu about the concert. He paused and struggled to hold back tears as he thought about how far he has come.
He said the milestone means a great deal to him. After 25 years in the industry, a show of this size is something he had not imagined.
"I never thought nitakuwa na show kama hii." – Colonel Mustafa
He also promised a night rooted in where his journey began. There will be culture, he said, and he could even walk on stage in a Kenyan uniform.

DJs and MCs to keep the night moving
The entertainment is not limited to live sets. DJ Extreme, DJ Tatuah and DJ Crucial will provide music.
MC Dykes Global and MC Wilko254 will host. The mix of performers, DJs and hosts is meant to keep the celebration going throughout the night.
More than just a gig
Mustafa has invited fans to share the occasion. He has promised "great energy, great music, and good vibes."
The concert is being presented as a celebration of his 25-year journey, not just another event. It is also a chance for him to reconnect with people who have been part of that story.
