HIV and AIDS champion Qabale Tache has raised concern over poor adherence to antiretroviral therapy, warning that stigma remains a major barrier to HIV prevention and treatment in Kenya. Tache says some people collect medication but fail to take it consistently, while others hide their status from partners. She is calling for regular community dialogue involving families, schools, healthcare workers and young people to strengthen treatment adherence and prevent new infections.
