President William Ruto has renewed his criticism of his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta, accusing him of sponsoring political opponents to challenge his administration in the 2027 General Election. Speaking in Kwale, Ruto claimed those allegedly sponsored to face him were yet to understand their political role and were not ready to engage him in the polls. He also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to promoting equitable development across the country.
