Water and Sanitation CS Eric Mugaa says stalled works on the Meru Sewerage Project have resumed following the resolution of contractual challenges. The contractor has mobilized back to site to fast-track completion, decommission the Gakoromone Treatment Facility and activate the Rwanyange Waste Treatment Facility. He says the move is expected to create space for construction of Gakoromone Market, fulfilling a presidential commitment.
